About this light

The Bijou table lamp dresses its bulb in a cylinder of cut crystals: rectangular glass blocks set in staggered rows between two chrome rings. At 47 cm high with a diameter of 19.5 cm, it takes up little space on a chest of drawers, a desk or a narrow bedside table, and makes the light sparkle in the edges of the glass.

Description

Glass blocks in a mosaic

The diffuser is made of clear glass blocks, bevel-cut and set like a vertical mosaic. A chrome ring holds the top and bottom of the cylinder. The base combines a straight stem with a circular foot, all in chrome-plated mild steel.

E14 cap, fragmented light

A single E14 lampholder sits at the centre, for a bulb of 40 W maximum, not included. A small clear LED bulb, candle or round shaped, shows off the facets better than a frosted bulb. It is switched on with an inline cable switch, with no brightness adjustment. IP20 indoor lamp, for dry rooms.

Compact size

With a diameter of 19.5 cm, it fits on a standard bedside table. Its weight of 3.85 kg makes it hard to knock over with a careless gesture. On a desk, place it to one side so the light is not reflected in the screen.
