Glass column, rings and base in antique brass
The stem is a clear glass cylinder, held at the top and bottom by moulded antique brass rings. At the bottom, the column rests on a stepped square base in the same patinated finish. This brass has a muted golden tone, less shiny than polished brass. The cream fabric lampshade, wider at the bottom than at the top, is described as linen by the manufacturer.
A side lamp for the living room or bedroom
An E27 lampholder takes the bulb, to be bought separately, up to 60 W. The light-coloured fabric diffuses the light all around and reflects it back onto the surface of the furniture. For reading or lighting a corner of the living room, choose an E27 LED at 2700 K. With its IP20 rating, it is intended for dry rooms only.
62 cm high, 37 cm lampshade
The lamp measures 62 cm high by 37 cm in diameter, the lampshade being its widest part, and weighs 3.4 kg. Place it on a piece of furniture deep enough that the lampshade does not overhang the front. A pair, one on each side of a sofa or bed, makes a symmetrical set. The model is also available in satin silver and as a floor lamp.
