Satin silver metal and clear glass tube
The silver-coloured metal has a satin finish: it reflects the light without the mirror effect of chrome. You will find it at the top of the column as a ring, and at the base, where a square, multi-tiered plinth provides stability. In between, the glass tube stays clear and lightens the silhouette. The manufacturer describes the lampshade as linen; in the photo it is cream and flares outwards towards the bottom.
An E27 lampholder under a light fabric lampshade
The lamp takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately. The fabric softens the light and spreads it around the base: ideal for reading for a while or lighting the living room in the evening. A warm white 2700 K LED preserves the cream tone of the lampshade. IP20 rating: living room, bedroom or hallway, never in a damp room.
Space needed on your furniture
Allow 37 cm in diameter at the lampshade, for a height of 62 cm and a weight of 2 kg. A standard bedside table is enough, but a chest of drawers or a desk leaves more room. On a desk, place it on the side opposite your writing hand to avoid casting a shadow. The antique brass finish and the matching floor lamp complete the range.
