About this light

White table lamp with a wooden stem: in this light shade, the Axel combines a white base, a natural wood stem and a white fabric lampshade hung to one side. At 66 cm high, it lights a child's desk, a bedroom or a bright reading corner, with the light directed towards the work surface.

Description

White and natural wood

Here, the round metal base and the fixing sleeve are painted white, which brings out the honey tone of the wood. The slightly tapered cylindrical lampshade, in white fabric on a PVC frame, sits to the side of the stem. The white cable stays discreet on a light-coloured piece of furniture.

Filtered, directed light

The white fabric lets through more light than the black version: the white Axel lights the work surface and, gently, the room as well. The retailer states that the lampshade slides along the stem. It takes an E27 bulb up to 60 W, with a switch on the cable; the datasheet indicates variable intensity. IP20 for indoor use.

Dimensions

Allow for a height of 66 cm, a 20 cm base and a 27 cm overhang. It weighs 1.92 kg. On a desk, place it in a corner with the lampshade turned towards the centre.
