About this light

The grey Agra is an openwork metal table lantern: a square column pierced with floral patterns of oriental inspiration, resting on four small ball feet. Light filters through the cut-outs and casts patterns on the walls. At 33.5 cm tall, it makes an ambient lamp for a shelf, sideboard or coffee table.

Description

Patinated metal lace

All four sides of the column are cut into rosettes and interlacing designs, with a grey, greenish patina that lets golden highlights show through. Slim bars emphasise the edges, and four small balls lift the lantern off the surface. The bulb can be glimpsed through the cut-outs.

Patterned light

When lit, the lantern projects its designs onto nearby surfaces. It takes an E14 bulb of 18 W maximum, not included; a small clear filament LED gives the sharpest shadows. Dimmable depending on the bulb, with an in-line cable switch. IP20.

Size

33.5 cm high, 12 cm wide, 0.9 kg. It looks its best placed close to a wall. 200 cm cable.
