About this light

The tall version of the Brooklyn, this black floor lamp with a smoked glass globe stands 131 cm high: a heavy cylindrical base, a long slim stem and, at the top, a tinted globe that hints at the bulb inside. It stands on the floor next to a sofa or an armchair, or in the corner of a bedroom.

Description

A glass capsule on top of a stem

The base is a black metal cylinder, substantial enough to balance the height. A very slim black stem rises to a black lampholder that carries the grey smoked glass globe, shaped like a capsule. The bulb is visible through the glass.

E27 bulb and soft light

The E27 lampholder takes 40 W maximum; the bulb is not included. The smoked glass softens the light: the floor lamp creates a mood rather than lighting a page. Choose a filament LED. Dimmable according to the specifications. Switch on the cable. IP20.

Stability and footprint

131 cm high with a 23 cm base and weighing 4.75 kg: it takes up very little space. Place it out of the way of foot traffic to avoid knocks. 200 cm cable.
