Large Smarties table lamp, flattened white globe 40 cm, E27 lampholder

A large oval globe

The same design as the small Smarties, on a larger scale: a white globe wider than it is tall, resting on a discreet ring. At 40 cm, the shape can be read from across the room and acts as a sculptural light in the space.

E27 lampholder up to 42 W

No bulb is supplied. The E27 lampholder takes a maximum of 42 W; a standard-shaped warm white LED lights the whole globe with no visible hot spot. The switch controls the lamp, whose light keeps a constant intensity. IP20: living room, bedroom, study.

Allow for the space

At 40 cm in diameter and 2.6 kg, it needs a wide, deep piece of furniture, such as a sideboard or a low living room unit. Avoid narrow shelves where the globe would overhang the edge.
