About this light

This black and nickel table lamp follows the cantilevered design of the Balance model, with a white lampshade that is silver on the inside. The light is brighter and more neutral than on the gold-lined version. The polished nickel accents, at the ends of the arm and at the foot of the stem, suit a desk or a bedroom in grey and white tones.

Description

White lampshade and nickel highlights

On this version, the white polycotton of the lampshade contrasts with the black steel of the stem and the circular base. The horizontal arm, finished with two polished nickel end caps, holds the lampshade out in front of the base. The silver lining is visible from above and reflects the light without tinting it.

Desk or bedside lighting

The cantilever places the light source above your book or keyboard rather than above the base. The E27 lampholder accepts 60 W at most; the bulb must be purchased separately. A 3000 K LED gives a crisp white that matches the nickel. A switch on the cable saves you from fumbling under the lampshade.

Space to allow

Height 65.6 cm, width 33.5 cm and 46.9 cm projection. For a bedside, allow for a table deep enough and position the lamp so that the arm extends towards the bed. It is Class II and weighs 3.5 kg.
