Description

Glass column and teal velvet

The stem is a long, clear glass tube closed in a dome shape, set on a cylindrical satin nickel base. A slim rod runs through it up to the lampholder: you can see it through the glass, which lightens the silhouette. The teal velvet drum is lined with silver, matching the metal of the stem.

Light towards the table and the ceiling

The E27 lampholder takes a 60 W bulb, not included. The velvet holds the light at the sides; it escapes through the top and bottom of the drum, where the silver lining reflects it without tinting it. For a living room, choose a warm white LED. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for living spaces, protected from humidity.

A heavy, stable base

At 3.5 kg, the lamp stays firmly in place on a sideboard or desk, even if the cable is pulled. The lampshade is 38 cm wide: allow for a slightly deeper piece of furniture. The switch is on the cord, and Class II (double insulation) means it can be plugged into any socket.
