Navy velvet on a black stem

The contrast comes down to three materials: the midnight blue velvet of the drum shade, the matt black of the mild steel and the antique brass of the leaves that open out beneath the lampshade. Two gold rings highlight the top and bottom of the stem, and a black disc serves as the base.

Light source and connection

E27 lampholder for a single bulb, to be purchased separately; the maximum wattage specified by the manufacturer is 10 W. A filament or frosted LED bulb will do the job. It is switched on by an inline switch on the cable, with no dimming function. With its IP20 rating, it is intended for living rooms and bedrooms only. Class II appliance.

Where to place it

At 40 cm wide, allow for a surface at least as deep, such as a console table or a chest of drawers. It weighs 0.95 kg, so it can easily be moved from room to room.
