About this light

Table lamp in pink velvet on an antique nickel palm tree base. The metal leaves open out beneath the drum shade, whose silver lining gives a bright light. For a bedroom, dressing room or reading corner, it is 63 cm high and takes an E27 bulb, sold separately.

Description

Soft pink on aged metal

The light pink velvet of the drum shade contrasts with the grey, aged tone of the antique nickel. The base, in mild steel, rises from a round disc, has two mouldings and ends in a bouquet of palm fronds just beneath the lampholder.

Light

A single light source with an E27 cap, with a stated power of 10 W. A warm white LED bulb shows off the velvet. The on/off switch is on the power cable; the brightness cannot be adjusted. Class II and IP20: plug into a standard socket, in a room free from damp.

Space required

Allow 38 cm in diameter for the lampshade. At 0.95 kg, the lamp is easy to move; on a bedside table, leave a few centimetres between the drum shade and the wall so the velvet does not rub.
