Palm leaves and grey velvet

All the decoration is concentrated on the base: a mild steel column in antique nickel finish, two protruding rings, then a spray of palm leaves that supports the drum. The light grey velvet stays understated and lets the detailed metalwork draw the eye. The inside of the drum is silver.

Use and electrical safety

An E27 bulb, not included, of 10 W according to the manufacturer, lights the tabletop and part of the wall. It is operated by a switch on the cable, and the lamp has a fixed light intensity. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry rooms; its Class II rating means double insulation.

Dimensions

At 63 cm high, 38 cm wide and 0.95 kg, it fits on a standard desk. Place it on the side opposite your writing hand to avoid shadows falling on the page.
