About this light

A black and gold table lamp with a metal shade: a brushed gold drum sits on a black stem fixed to the edge of a flat base. At 49 cm high, it lights a desk, console table or bedside table with a downward light, the opaque shade letting nothing filter out at the sides.

Description

Gold drum and off-centre black stem

The lampshade is a low mild steel cylinder in a gold finish with a brushed look, its gold interior reflecting the light. It is carried by a matt black stem, marked with a ring, which does not rise from the centre of the base but from its edge: the lamp looks perfectly balanced. The base is a thin black disc, with a gold connector where the stem begins.

An E14 light source under metal

The E14 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W, not included. As the shade is opaque, the light falls in a circle onto the furniture. Switch on the cable, no dimming.

Size and weight

At 25 cm wide and weighing 2.3 kg, it fits on a small bedside table or a corner of a desk. Point the stem towards the back of the furniture so that the shade extends over your reading area.
