About this light

A ceramic table lamp with a white base swelling out twice, beneath a soft green faux silk lampshade. The antique brass of the foot and finial warms the whole piece. It suits a room in natural tones, with wood, linen or plants. Allow for a height of 64 cm and an E27 bulb, to be purchased separately.

Description

A calabash silhouette

The shape of the base recalls a calabash: a wide sphere at the bottom, a smaller one above, then a short neck. The glossy white glaze reflects the light of the room. At the bottom and at the top, steel parts in an antique brass finish frame the ceramic with a patinated golden metal.

Green lampshade and light

The green faux silk lampshade flares out towards the bottom. When lit, the lamp casts a slightly green-tinged light to the sides and a white light upwards and downwards. It works with an E27 bulb up to 60 W, sold separately, and is switched on using the switch on the cable.

Which piece of furniture?

The 36 cm diameter calls for a surface at least that wide. At 5.1 kg, it can be moved around without risk of tipping over, whether on a sideboard or on a desk.
