Description

White and plum contrast

The body of the lamp, in glossy white ceramic, takes the shape of a double gourd, wide at the bottom and narrower above. The colour comes from the lampshade: a purple shading towards plum, in faux silk, with a conical shape. Antique brass appears on the foot and on the small finial that crowns the whole.

Light and dimensions

The purple tints the light passing through the fabric; for reading, you mainly benefit from the beam that comes out below the lampshade. The E27 lampholder takes up to 60 W, bulb to be purchased separately, and the switch is on the cable. At 64 cm high and 5.1 kg, it suits a sideboard or console table where it will not be knocked.
