Sotto black desk lamp, tripod and conical lampshade, E27

Slim tripod and black cone

Sotto stands on a tripod of slim rods ending in small feet. The longest one rises at an angle, bends at the top and carries an elongated, black, conical lampshade tilted downwards. A gold-coloured piece connects the stem to the lampshade and creates a subtle contrast with the black.

An E27 bulb of your choice

The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W. The brightness can be varied, provided you choose a dimmable bulb. For a work surface, choose an E27 LED in warm white 2700 K to 3000 K, or a more neutral white if you spend long hours working at a screen. The conical lampshade directs the light downwards onto the area you need and limits glare.

On a desk or a console

Place the lamp on the side opposite your writing hand to avoid casting a shadow on the page. The tripod needs a little space: check the room available on a narrow desk before choosing where to put it.
