Aegeus table lamp in polished nickel, zigzag base, silver lampshade

A base like a folded metal ribbon

The steel base in a polished nickel finish is made of wide bands that cross in a Z shape, between a triangular top plate and a triangular base. Seen from the side, the design changes with the angle: that is the appeal of the piece. The silver cylindrical lampshade, edged with a trim at the top and bottom, stays simple to let the metal do the talking.

Filtered light

One E27 bulb up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The silver fabric diffuses light to the sides; the open top and bottom cast light onto the tabletop and the ceiling. A 3000 K LED keeps the crisp white of the nickel. IP20: for living room, bedroom or study.

Where to place it

The 45 cm diameter of the lampshade and the lamp's weight of 6.75 kg call for a deep, sturdy piece of furniture: a sideboard, a wide console table or a generous side table.
