Barnsbury table lamp in ribbed green ceramic with brown lampshade

Celadon green glazed pottery

The ceramic base follows the silhouette of a bottle vase: a wide, low belly and a straight neck. A reflective glaze creates fine horizontal bands, from pale green to grey-green, like the rings left by a potter's wheel. The brown lampshade, wider than the vase, adds a woody note.

Soft, subdued light

E27 lampholder accepting up to 60 W, bulb not included. The brown poly-cotton lets through a fairly muted amber light; most of the light is directed upwards and towards the furniture. For brighter lighting, fit a 3000 K LED bulb. For use in a dry room (IP20).

Dimensions

70 cm high and 42 cm in diameter: allow for a piece of furniture at least 45 cm deep, such as a sideboard or living room console table.
