About this light

The Birdland is a richly ornate candelabra-style table lamp in cream and gold. A striped column rises from a star-shaped base; three curved arms carry cups hung with crystal drops and small cream and gold striped lampshades. Standing 81 cm tall, it is designed for a console or a decorative sideboard.

Description

A candelabra full of detail

The steel structure combines several finishes: a cream and gold striped column, aged gold arms and a star-shaped base. Beneath each candle cup hang clear crystal drops, with a red ornament at the centre. The miniature lampshades, striped horizontally in gold and cream, echo the column. The whole has an aged, crackled look.

Sparkling light

Three E27 lampholders, 40 W maximum per bulb; bulbs not included. The light, filtered by the small lampshades, makes the crystals sparkle rather than lighting the room: this is a decorative lamp. IP20.

Proportions

81 cm high, 45.5 cm in diameter and 7.16 kg: give it a clear, sturdy piece of furniture, away from a thoroughfare where the crystal drops could be knocked.
