About this light

The Octavia table lamp in aged gold features an openwork baluster shape, as if cut with a stencil: steel strips undulate to form a vase-like silhouette with several bulges. It stands on a dark brown base and is topped with a cream linen lampshade. At 88.7 cm tall, it suits a console table or sideboard.

Description

A steel lace baluster

The steel frame reads as an outline: successive curves and counter-curves evoke a baluster or an oriental lantern. The hand-applied aged gold finish reveals brown nuances. At the centre, a slim stem carries the lampholder. The round dark brown base keeps the whole piece stable.

Lighting

One E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not included. The conical cream linen lampshade gives a warm, enveloping light; the open top also lights the ceiling. IP20.

Proportions

88.7 cm high and 41 cm in diameter: a tall lamp that balances a large mirror or a picture above a piece of furniture.
