About this light

The Ribbon table lamp takes its name from its base: a polished nickel steel ribbon that coils in a spiral around the stem, like a frozen coil. The oval black lampshade creates a sharp contrast with the mirror-finish metal. At 77.5 cm high, it sits well on a console table, a sideboard or a clean-lined desk.

Description

A spiralling metal ribbon

A flat steel band, polished like a mirror, rises from the round base, twists around itself and climbs in a triangle along the stem. Depending on the angle, it reflects the light of the room differently. The oval black fabric lampshade adds a dark block of colour above this movement.

Light

One E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 60 W, not included. The black fabric is almost opaque: the light is directed towards the furniture and the ceiling, which lights the ribbon from above. It is an ambient lamp. IP20.

Dimensions

45 cm wide, 30 cm deep, 77.5 cm high: leave it a clear surface so that the sculpture can be seen.
