About this light

White bedside wall light with shelf, Komodo-2 version: the small folded-sheet-metal shelf is on the left and the LED spotlight on the right, the reverse of the Komodo-1. This orientation lets you fit both sides of a bed symmetrically. The white metal blends into a light wall; the 4.5 W LED is integrated and a USB port is provided.

Description

The reversed layout

On the Komodo-2, the square panel that forms the shelf is on the left; the narrow plate carrying the spotlight and the USB socket sits on the right. Everything else stays the same: white lacquered metal, a cylindrical spotlight mounted on a small joint, and a folded edge to rest a book or a phone.

Lighting and controls

Direct light, according to the retailer's description, with a spotlight stated to be adjustable. The light source is an integrated 4.5 W LED, included, giving 240 lm at 3000 K. Constant intensity, switch on the fitting. IP20 rating: suitable only for rooms free from damp.

Pairing two wall lights

For a double bed, install a Komodo-2 on one side and a Komodo-1 on the other: the shelves end up on the outer side or on the mattress side depending on the order chosen. Each wall light is 13 cm high and weighs 0.7 kg.
