Box black garden bollard light, rectangular glass lantern 45.5 cm

Black cast aluminium and four clear glass panes

The base and the lantern are made of black cast aluminium. The square-section post rests on a slightly wider square plate. The head forms a narrow cage: four slim uprights, a flat roof and clear glass on every side, so the lampholder and bulb remain visible.

A clearly visible E27 bulb

The bollard light takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied. As the bulb is on show, its look matters: a filament LED, pear or flame-shaped, gives a crisp point of light. Choose 2700 K for a golden glow along a path. Rated IP44, the bollard light withstands rain; just avoid a hollow where water collects.

Low height and fixing to hard ground

At 10 cm wide and 45.5 cm high, the bollard light takes up very little ground space. It is screwed down onto a paving slab, a concrete kerb or a sealed block; as a Class I fitting, it must be connected to earth. Along a path, space several bollard lights 2 to 3 m apart for even marking.
