Alex black outdoor hanging lantern wall light, 44 cm

Lantern hanging from a curved arm

The arm starts at the top of the wall plate, curves round and meets the top of the lantern, which hangs below it. It has six clear glass panes, a cornice roof and a pointed finial facing the ground. The whole structure is made of black cast aluminium.

Light directed downwards

The bulb hangs beneath the lantern's roof: the light shines first onto the ground and the doorstep. It takes one E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not included; a clear or filament LED keeps the look of a traditional lantern. IP44 protects it from everyday weather: showers, splashes and damp. Class I, earthed.

Fitting above or beside a door

At 44 cm high, the lantern is 25 cm wide on the façade: beside a door, leave this space between the frame and the wall plate. It projects 26 cm and weighs 1.5 kg. As the lantern hangs down, fix the wall plate a little higher than for an upward-facing wall light, at around 1.80 to 2 m from the ground, so that the bottom of the lantern does not get in the way when passing through.
