Sensor built into the wall plate

The sensor is located under the arm, in the round plate fixed to the wall. Above it, the silver-finish 304 stainless steel lantern combines a clear glass cylinder, protective rods and a round roof topped with two tiered rings.

Automatic switch-on as you pass

The PIR sensor turns the light on when it detects movement: handy for finding the lock with your hands full, and a deterrent to unwelcome visitors. The fitting accepts an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately. We recommend an LED, which copes well with repeated switching on. Rated IP44, the wall light withstands rain outdoors, on an exposed wall or under a canopy.

Size and positioning

It is 23.6 cm high and 21.8 cm wide, and projects 26 cm. Position it at about 1.80 to 2 m above the ground, facing the area people walk through, with no tree or hedge moving within the sensor's field. Its weight of 1.8 kg means it can be fixed without any special reinforcement. Earthed connection required (Class I).
