A lantern at the end of a chain

The square lantern hangs from a ring fixed to the top of its roof with curved sides. The glazed faces combine pieces of clear glass set in lead by hand, with a central diamond. Beneath the lantern, a turned finial completes the silhouette. The black lacquered cast aluminium comes with the manufacturer's anti-corrosion guarantee.

An E27 bulb under a roof

A single E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W; no bulb is supplied, and a dimmable LED bulb allows it to be connected to a dimmer. Rated IP44, it withstands splashing water; it still needs a ceiling to hang from: porch, deep canopy, covered walkway or carport. Class I: provide the earth wire at the connection point.

Adjusting the chain

The lantern body is 39.5 cm high and the pendant light weighs 1.53 kg. By shortening or lengthening the chain, the total height can be adjusted between 51.5 and 60 cm. Be sure to leave about 2 m of clear height to walk underneath.
