The black chain hooks onto a ring at the top of the curved roof. The lantern, in black-finish die-cast aluminium, has clear bevelled glass panes beneath a moulded cornice and ends at the bottom with an inverted finial with scrolls. Inside, three E14 lampholders on candle sleeves form a small chandelier.

IP23: for a sheltered entrance

The IP23 rating protects against rain falling at an angle, not against splashes from all directions: keep this pendant light for a covered space, such as a porch, gallery or deep canopy. It takes three E14 bulbs of up to 60 W each, not included, and works with a dimmer when used with compatible bulbs. Class I, earthing required.

Fixing and clearance height

At 30.5 cm in diameter and weighing 6.48 kg, it needs a solid fixing point in the ceiling or roof frame. Under a porch used as a thoroughfare, keep at least 2.10 m between the floor and the bottom of the lantern. The manufacturer guarantees it for 3 years against corrosion.
