Large Newbury polished brass hanging lantern, 2 x E14 lights

Two candle holders behind bevelled glass

Inside, two gold-coloured faux candles each carry an E14 lampholder: with flame bulbs, the effect recalls candle lanterns. The solid polished brass body follows the design of the small Newbury, with its curved panes, flared shoulders, tapered base and bulb-shaped crown beneath the ring. The diameter is 26.4 cm.

Light and protection

Each lampholder takes a maximum of 60 W; the two bulbs are to be purchased separately. Clear LED flame bulbs preserve the transparency of the glass; if you choose dimmable ones, they suit the dimmer that the lantern accepts. Rated IP23, the lantern only withstands slanting rain: reserve it for a covered position sheltered from the wind, such as a gallery or an enclosed porch. Class I, earthing required.

Overall height from 50.8 to 170.8 cm

The length of chain lets you adjust the overall height between 50.8 and 170.8 cm. In a double-height entrance, keep the chain long and align the lantern with the centre line of the door. Weighing 3.83 kg, it is fixed into the slab or into a beam.
