Three lanterns on a crown of scrolls
At the top of the post, three curved arms decorated with scrolls each carry a lantern with six clear panes, a pointed roof and a finial. The black aluminium shaft, banded with rings, widens into a moulded, faceted base that anchors the silhouette. The Victorian inspiration is visible from the finial down to the base.
Three E27 lampholders for a courtyard or forecourt
Each lantern takes one E27 bulb of up to 60 W: three bulbs to be purchased separately. For an even light, choose three LEDs identical in colour and shape, in warm white 2700 K or 3000 K. It is dimmable: in that case, choose dimmable LEDs and a dimmer suitable for outdoor use. Its IP44 rating allows it to stay outdoors in the rain, season after season. Class I, must be earthed.
227 cm and 9 kg: a solid anchorage
It is the tallest of the Alex floor lamps, and its arms span 70 cm in width. Its weight and height call for a concrete footing or a solid slab, with suitable anchor bolts. Leave clearance around the lanterns, away from low branches, and plan for the cable to enter at the base.
