Alex low bollard light, black hexagonal lantern with clear glass on a base

Lantern set on a pedestal

This model uses the lantern from the Alex range: six clear glass sides, a roof with cornice and a pointed finial. Here there is no shaft: the lantern rests on a faceted base that widens towards the bottom. This compact shape makes it suited to pillars and low walls as much as to the ground.

Light close to the ground

One E27 bulb, up to 60 W, to be chosen by you. Placed low, the lantern mainly lights the ground and the neighbouring plants; a low-power LED bulb avoids turning the border into a floodlight. The IP44 rating allows installation in the open, exposed to the weather. Class I: connection with an earth is mandatory.

A 23 cm base, 1.5 kg

Its width of 23 cm requires a fairly wide support: check the surface of the pillar cap before ordering. At 50 cm high, it keeps measured proportions on a gate pillar as well as at the foot of a flower bed. Fix the base with screws onto the masonry support. On a gate, a bollard on each side marks the entrance at night.
