About this light

Outdoor wall light with a 27 cm opal globe hanging below a black polymer wall arm. The polycarbonate ball casts a soft light around the door, and the light can also be mounted with the globe facing upwards. It lights an entrance, a garage door or an outdoor staircase with an E27 bulb.

Description

Wall arm and opal globe

A moulded black backplate carries a short bracket arm, from which the opal polycarbonate globe hangs, held by a ring and ribs. Depending on the facade, the light can be turned over so that the ball sits above the arm. The black polymer does not rust and the polycarbonate is impact-resistant.

Bulb and protection rating

E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 60 W, not included. A dimmer can adjust the brightness, provided the bulb itself is dimmable. The opal globe prevents glare at face height. The IP44 rating means it can be fitted directly on the facade, even without a roof overhang. Class II, no earth wire.

Projection and mounting height

The wall light projects 32 cm and is 44 cm high: check that a door leaf or shutter will not hit it. Lightweight at 1.17 kg, it is fixed with standard wall plugs. With the globe facing down, place the backplate about 2 m above the ground so that the ball stays above head height.
