Tournai outdoor wall light, 1-light lantern 45.7 cm

The Tournai ornaments in a medium size

The relief backplate carries an arm that curls over the lantern before holding it by its top. The faceted lantern flares towards the top and has a crown of moulded motifs; a small finial hangs beneath the cap. The cast aluminium is finished in Londonderry, a brown bronze with lighter highlights, and the panes are clear seeded glass.

A single E27 up to 60 W

One E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum. The bulb is not included: a classic-shaped or filament LED will do, in 2700 K for a yellow light close to incandescent. It accepts a dimmer: in that case choose a dimmable LED. As for moisture, the IP44 rating lets it withstand showers and splashes on an unprotected wall.

4.08 kg and 28.6 cm projection

At 4.08 kg, fixing remains simple on a solid wall. The lantern projects 28.6 cm, which keeps it clear of a door that opens. Earthed connection, as the fitting is Class I. Aim for about 1.70 m from the ground for the centre of the wall light near an entrance.
