South Hope Bluetooth garden lantern in rubbed bronze 47.4 cm

Bronze aluminium cage and satin opal glass

Four straight aluminium uprights, finished in rubbed bronze that is almost black, connect a square footed base to a slightly overhanging flat roof. At the top, an open handle with rounded corners is used for carrying it. At the centre, the diffuser is a double-layered opal glass cylinder with a satin finish, which softens the light and completely hides the LED.

Warm white LED and Bluetooth speaker

The built-in LED, supplied, gives 250 lm at 3000 K: a supplementary light for a meal outdoors, not a floodlight. It switches on with a push button and runs on a rechargeable lithium battery, supplied with its cable. The built-in speaker connects via Bluetooth. Rated IP44, the lantern tolerates rain and can stay on the terrace during a damp evening.

Dimensions

The base measures 17.8 cm on each side and the height is 47.4 cm, a narrower footprint than that of a round lantern. At 4.08 kg, it stays stable on a flat surface; recharge it under cover.
