Hanging lantern beneath an ornate crook
The arm rises from the top of the backplate, curls into a scroll and holds the lantern by its cap. The cast aluminium body, in an antique bronze finish, echoes the 1900s motifs of the series: fan ornaments on the cornice, sculpted handles and a pointed pendant beneath the base. The rippled panes of champagne-tinted glass hint at the three candles within.
Three E14 bulbs required
Three E14 lampholders, 60 W maximum per bulb, supplied without bulbs. Warm white LED flame bulbs pair well with the champagne glass. It can be dimmed with a dimmer, provided dimmable LED bulbs are fitted. As for the weather, IP44 protects against rain and splashes: it copes with an exposed facade as well as beneath a canopy. Class I: a circuit with an earth connection is required.
Dimensions: 26 cm wide, 31 cm projection, 4.91 kg
As the lantern hangs below the arm, the light point sits lower than on the upright version. Position the top of the backplate at about 2.10 to 2.20 m from the ground, so the finial does not hang too low. Its 4.91 kg should be fixed to solid masonry. It suits large doors and gate pillars.
