Round backplate and cast aluminium cage
The wall plate takes the form of a round backplate fluted in a fan pattern; a short, straight arm connects it to the lantern roof, topped with a finial. The blown glass panes, with a water-like wavy surface, are set in a cage with curved uprights that narrows towards the bottom to a small pendant. The walnut-tinted cast aluminium keeps a patinated look.
An E27 bulb up to 100 W
The lampholder accepts an E27 bulb of 100 W maximum, not included. A clear filament LED is enough to light a lock and a doorstep, and makes the most of the reflections in the glass. With IP44 protection, the wall light withstands rain and splashes on an uncovered wall. Class I: an earth wire is required. 3-year anti-corrosion warranty according to the manufacturer.
Discreet on a door jamb
At 16.5 cm wide and projecting 20.3 cm, it fits on a door jamb or a fence pillar. Its weight of 1.8 kg needs only wall plugs suited to the wall. Fit it at around 1.70 m from the ground, beside the handle rather than above the door, so that the cap does not cast a shadow over visitors' faces.
