About this light

A portable outdoor LED lantern, South Hope takes its architecture from a small pavilion: flat roof, four slim columns, a base on feet and a white glowing cylinder at its centre. The very dark rubbed bronze makes the opal glass stand out. Place it on a garden table, a low wall or in a covered entrance for 250 lm of accent light.

Description

A miniature pavilion

The lantern is made of aluminium and glass. Its square cage, with crisp edges, carries an overhanging roof and a carrying handle. The opal glass cylinder, mounted on a dark ring, floats at the centre of the cage: from every side you see a column of milky light with no bright spot.

A 3000 K LED source

The LED is integrated and supplied with the lantern. It produces 250 lm in a warm white of 3000 K: enough for dining or marking a step, too little for reading for long. The IP44 rating means it can be left outside in light rain or beside a freshly watered path.

Size and weight

It measures 17.8 cm wide and deep, by 47.4 cm high, and weighs 4.08 kg. This slim format means you can line up two on either side of a door or an outdoor staircase.
