Mirror chrome around an opal diffuser
The chromed steel ring is polished to a mirror shine, with an edge that steps down towards the diffuser. This opal polycarbonate disc, held by two side screws, gives a light with no visible hot spot. This chrome matches the most common taps and fittings; the Welland series from Elstead is also available in two brass finishes.
Integrated 25 W LED, fixed light at 3000 K
No bulb to buy: the LED module is built into the ceiling light and provides 2250 lm in warm white. It is not dimmable. With an IP54 rating, the light withstands dust and water splashes, which makes it suitable for a bathroom ceiling, but not above the bath or inside the shower. Class II: no earth required.
Four centimetres below the ceiling
Its 4 cm profile makes it almost invisible from the side, an asset under eaves or in a narrow hallway. The 36.1 cm diameter and the weight of 1.31 kg allow direct fixing to the ceiling, via the cable outlet box. Place it in the centre of the room and complement it with a mirror wall light to avoid shadows on the face.
