Samson 6-Spotlight Bathroom Ceiling Light, Articulated Bar, Antique Brass

A 180 cm articulated bar

The bar is made of several antique brass rod segments linked by joints: it can be extended in a straight line or folded into a zigzag, as in the photo, to follow the layout of the room. Six grooved cylinders, mounted on brackets, are arranged along it in pairs. The aged brass, golden and burnished, pairs well with wood and warm tones.

Six GU10 lampholders, bulbs to be supplied

Each of the six spotlights takes a GU10 bulb of 10 W maximum, not supplied: choose warm white LEDs. Dimming is possible with dimmable bulbs. Each head can be aimed where needed: mirror, bathtub seen from a distance, cupboard, shower from outside the zone. IP44 protected, it can be fitted to a bathroom ceiling, with the bar kept away from the shower head. Class II.

An installation that needs planning

When extended, the bar measures 180 cm, with a width of 13 cm and a drop of 19.5 cm (1.9 kg in total); measure the ceiling before buying. Allow for a ceiling of at least 2.30 m and check that the line of the bar, even when folded, stays clear of the shower.
