Brastad black 2-light bathroom wall light, flared white glass shades 40 cm

A line of glass on a black backdrop

The horizontal backplate is lacquered matt black; two frosted white glass shades extend from it, separated by a small dark metal piece in the centre. Their profile flares from the inside outwards, giving the line of light a wing-like shape rather than that of a simple tube.

Two E14 lampholders, 40 W maximum each

The E14 bulbs, to be purchased separately, must not exceed 40 W; two LEDs of the same colour temperature are enough for a washbasin mirror. The frosted glass spreads the light downwards and forwards, where the face is. Class I construction, connected to earth. The wall light is IP44 rated: it withstands the splashes and steam of a bathroom, provided it is kept away from the shower.

Mounting above the mirror, 1 kg

At 40 cm long and with a 9 cm projection, it centres neatly above a single mirror; its height of 11.5 cm remains discreet. Allow 1 kg on two wall plugs. Fix the backplate a few centimetres from the top edge of the mirror. The black three-glass Brastad ceiling light completes the set.
