Ribbed glass, clear acrylic and brushed nickel
Two transparent materials make up this wall light: thick glass with radiating ribs for the cup, and crystal-clear acrylic for the rod, which descends to a point below the fixing ring. The visible metal is limited to the round wall backplate, the arm and the rings, in brass with a brushed nickel finish, a matt grey.
Two LEDs, one of them in the rod
The wall light has two LED light sources, supplied: a 3 W bulb with a G9 cap in the cup, and an LED built into the base of the acrylic rod. Together they give 370 lm in 3000 K warm white, an accent light rather than main lighting. Rated IP44, the Agatha can be installed in a bathroom near the basin or bath, out of reach of the shower spray, but also in a hallway or bedroom. It cannot be dimmed.
A tall vertical silhouette
At 49.3 cm high and 13.5 cm wide, the torch visually stretches the wall. It projects 21.5 cm from the wall, so avoid a narrow passage. It weighs 1.94 kg. Mount it so that the cup sits slightly above eye level, as a pair on either side of a mirror.
