Aged brass finish across the whole structure

Backplate, bar, rods and rings share the same softened gold tone. The two white opal glass spheres hang beneath the bar at an equal distance from the centre. The design is that of a hotel light from the nineteen-thirties, in a compact version: 23 cm high, 19.3 cm deep.

Two E14 lampholders and an IP44 rating

Two E14 lampholders for two bulbs of 40 W maximum, to be purchased separately. Dimmable LEDs of 4 to 6 W each already provide plenty of light for shaving or applying make-up, and the light accepts a dimmer. The wall light is protected against splashes (IP44): it can be fitted above a washbasin without any worry, but not within the shower area or above the bath. Class I requires an earth connection.

How high to hang it

Fix the backplate about twenty centimetres above the top of the mirror, so that the 38.1 cm wide wall light does not obscure the reflection; its 1.7 kg weight needs only ordinary wall plugs suited to the wall. For a wider mirror, the 3-globe version from the same collection is available.
