Roehm bathroom wall light in polished chrome, square opal glass, 1 light

Square-sided opal glass on a chrome backplate

The wall plate is a square of mirror-polished chrome-plated steel. A short arm, also chrome, carries a cup that holds the diffuser: a square-section opal glass with softened corners that widens as it rises.

A 3000 K G9 LED, included

The wall light takes a 3 W LED bulb with a G9 cap, supplied with the light: 300 lm in 3000 K warm white, with low consumption and little heat in the glass. It is dimmable. The opal glass diffuses light in all directions, giving a soft glow around the mirror rather than a directed beam. IP44 rated, it withstands the steam and splashes of a washbasin; keep it out of the shower and bath zones. Class I connection, with earth wire.

Compact size, fitted as a pair

It measures 17.3 cm high and 11.4 cm wide, and projects 16.5 cm. Fit one on each side of the mirror, at face height, to light without shadows under the eyes. A single one is enough above a small cloakroom basin. The three-light Roehm version is available for wide mirrors.
