The design is easy to read from the photo: a square backplate in the centre, a slim chrome-plated steel bar running to left and right, and three cups that each hold a square opal glass shade, wider at the top than at the base.

Light spread across the full width

Each diffuser houses a 3 W G9 LED, and all three are in the box: 900 lm in total at 3000 K, dimmable. The opal glass hides the bulbs from view and spreads the light towards the ceiling and the mirror, with no hot spots. The IP44 rating allows installation above a basin, in a room where showers are taken, as long as the wall light stays clear of the water jet. It is connected as Class I, on a circuit with an earth.

58.4 cm to centre above the mirror

The bar measures 58.4 cm wide, 18.3 cm high and projects 15.9 cm. It is centred above a mirror 60 to 80 cm wide, with the backplate about twenty centimetres above the top edge. As the shades point upwards, it also works as general lighting for a small bathroom.
