A faceted glass tube

The opal glass is not round but cut into flat sides, giving the tube crisp edges that catch the daylight. The central matt black steel ring conceals the fixing and joins the tube to a small round backplate. The light is 12.7 cm wide, projects 10.5 cm from the wall and weighs 1.19 kg.

Integrated LED, warm and soft light

The 12 W LED source is integrated and supplied: no bulb to buy or replace. It produces 1080 lm at 3000 K, a warm white that flatters the skin, diffused along the whole length of the tube with no hot spot. The IP44 rating allows installation in a bathroom near the washbasin and mirror; avoid the shower cubicle and the area directly above the bath.

Vertical mounting beside the mirror

At 35.6 cm high, it works as a light bar to be placed vertically on either side of the mirror, with the centre of the tube at eye level. Installed as a pair, it lights the face from both sides without shadow. It is fixed by the round backplate, behind the central ring.
