Slim post and capped lantern

The whole fitting is made of thick hot-dip galvanised steel. The slim post ends in a round base plate at ground level; at the top, the lantern combines a clear polycarbonate diffuser, vertical rods and flat bands. The underside of the cap, painted white, reflects the light downwards.

Bulb visible behind the diffuser

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not included. As the diffuser is clear, the bulb remains visible: an LED filament bulb keeps the look of an old-style lantern. The IP54 rating protects against rain and dust. Class II, no earth conductor. The light can be used with a dimmer; the bulb must then be dimmable.

Height and positioning

At 118 cm, the light falls from above hip height and covers a larger area than a bollard light. At 27 cm wide and weighing 4.62 kg, allow for a concrete base to screw the base plate to and a duct for the power supply.
