Large Tangier wall lantern in antique bronze, bubbled glass, 43.2 cm

Large town square lantern in antique bronze

This cast aluminium model has an antique bronze finish, a dark brown with coppery highlights. The large bubbled glass panes reveal the bulb behind their X-shaped bars. The curved two-tier roof, topped with a finial, and the moulded-edge backplate complete the silhouette of a town lantern.

E27 lampholder, IP44 rating for the façade

It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. A large filament bulb fills this glazed space nicely. Rated IP44, the lantern withstands rain: it can stay exposed on a façade wall or flank a gate, with no canopy required. Class I: earthed connection required.

A heavy lantern that needs secure fixing

It weighs 4.39 kg and projects 26.7 cm from the wall: choose wall plugs suited to this load, in solid masonry. On a large façade, a pair on either side of a double door keeps the overall proportions balanced.
