Short column in varnished aluminium
The body is made of cast aluminium varnished in coffee, a dark brown shade that stays discreet among foliage and timber borders. At the top, a round cap protects a clear Pyrex glass sleeve, inside which you can see a ribbed aluminium decoration. At the base, a circular footplate provides support on the ground.
E27 light source and IP65 protection
Allow for an E27 bulb of 42 W at most; none is supplied. A low-power LED is often enough for path marking: the bollard light should guide your step rather than light up the whole area. Its IP65 rating seals it against dust and lets it withstand jets from an automatic watering system as well as heavy showers. Class I, earth connection required.
A height in scale with flower beds
At 60.5 cm high and weighing 1.97 kg, this Tronco stays below hip height and lights mainly the ground. Line up several along a path, staggering them from one side to the other, or place one at each corner of a terrace. A concrete base or a slab serves as a foundation, with the cable run through a conduit.
