Alex black upward-mounted lantern outdoor wall light, 43 cm high

Lantern supported by a cast aluminium arm

The curved, moulded wall plate holds an arm that drops down and then rises back up beneath the lantern to support it. The six-sided lantern keeps the hallmarks of the Alex range: clear glass panes, a roof with a cornice, a finial. The body is made of black cast aluminium, with a decorative spike beneath the base.

Bulb of 60 W maximum

The E27 lampholder is limited to 60 W, bulb not included. A flame-shaped filament LED stays true to the spirit of the lantern. Mounted upright, the lantern shines out to the sides through its glass panes and lights the façade around it. With its IP44 rating, it withstands rain and garden watering. Class I, must be earthed.

26.8 cm projection from the wall

The lantern sits 26.8 cm from the wall, and is 23 cm wide and weighs 1.5 kg. Leave this space clear in front of it, away from the swing of a shutter. Position it at about 1.70 m above the ground, so that the top of the lantern is roughly level with the top of the door.
