Victoria verdigris outdoor wall lantern, domed roof

Verdigris patina and clear glass

According to Netlighting, the body is made of solid brass, shaped by hand and then given a verdigris patina. The photo shows an uneven colour, paler on the faces and deeper in the recesses, like oxidised metal. The rectangular frame holds three clear glass panes, and the roof ends in a flat top.

Bulb and IP44 rating

With its IP44 rating, the lantern is not troubled by rain or splashes from watering: façade, courtyard, garden wall. The E27 lampholder takes a maximum of 100 W; the bulb must be ordered separately. The supplier states that it can be used with a dimmer. An amber filament bulb enhances the aged look of the patina.

A small lantern for narrow walls

At 17.5 cm wide, it fits on a narrow pier between two windows or near a pantry door. It weighs 1.85 kg and must be fixed to a solid wall. The connection includes an earth, as the fitting is Class I.
