A black aluminium body with prominent rings
The body of the Malvern wall light is shaped like an elongated diabolo: two rounded flares at the ends and a narrow waist at the centre, highlighted by two rings. It is made of black aluminium and stands away from the wall on a short stem screwed onto a round backplate. The openings are at the top and bottom; nothing lights up at the sides.
Two GU10 beams that withstand the rain
Each end takes an 8 W GU10 spot in 3000 K; both bulbs are supplied with the wall light. The light travels up towards the sky and down towards the ground, leaving the wall in shadow between the two beams: the effect is graphic on light render or cladding. The wall light can be connected to a dimmer. With its IP44 rating, it withstands rain and can be fitted on a façade, under an awning or under a porch.
Dimensions and mounting height
The wall light measures 23 cm high by 9.2 cm wide and projects 12.9 cm from the wall, and weighs 0.81 kg. To frame a front door, install one on each side, at about 1.80 m from the ground, so that the two beams remain clearly visible. Class I luminaire, to be earthed.
